Privacy policy

The Privacy Policy defines the rules governing the processing and protection of personal data disclosed by the Users of vr.profiauto.pl, hereinafter referred to as the Website.

1. Moto-Profil Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością with its registered office at the address: Chorzów, ul. Niedźwiedziniec 10, NIP 9542022592, REGON 271218714, is the controller of personal data, hereinafter referred to as the Controller.
2. The Website obtains information about the Users entered in the forms on the basis of the consent given by the Users themselves.
3. The data are processed for the purpose determined by the function of a specific form, e.g. to respond to a question asked by the User.
4. The User who has entered the data in the form has the right to:
1. access, modify or delete their personal data,
2. limit the processing and demand that their data will no longer be processed at any time,
3. withdraw their consent at any time – withdrawal of the consent will not affect the legality of the processing completed before the consent was withdrawn,
4. transfer their data to another Controller of personal data,
5. lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
5. The personal data disclosed by the User will be processed as long as necessary for the purposes for which the data have been disclosed and as long as the Controller’s legal, accounting and tax obligations exist, and until potential claims become time-barred. If consent has been given to the processing of personal data – until the consent is withdrawn.
6. The Controller exercises due diligence to properly secure the personal data, in particular against their disclosure to unauthorized persons.
7. The personal data may be provided to entities that have a legal basis under applicable law.
8. Entities collecting and processing personal data on the Website come largely from Poland and the countries of the European Economic Area (EEA). Some of the providers are based outside the EEA (e.g. Google Inc. is based in the USA and provides a website statistics service named Google Analytics). These entities are required to comply with the rules set out in the EU-US Privacy Shield program regarding the collection, use and storage of personal data of European Union citizens (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2016/1250 of 12 July 2016 on the adequacy of protection provided by the EU-US Privacy Shield), and contractual clauses adopted by the EU Commission.
9. Legal basis for the processing of personal data:
1. The Act on the provision of electronic services of 18 July 2002;
2. The Act on Telecommunications Law of 16 July 2004;
3. Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR);

Cookie Policy

Cookies are IT data stored on end devices of the Users, intended for the use of websites.

1. The Website at vr.profiauto.pl does not automatically collect any information, except for information contained in cookies. Such information includes: IP address, domain name, type of browser, type of operating system and data on the User’s navigation path and the time of the User’s visit to specific subpages.
2. The Controller may use cookies to:
1. improve the User experience on the Website and adjust its content to specific preferences of the User
2. create anonymous statistics based on the Google Analytics system (analysis of Users’ activities on the website and demographic data), excluding the possibility of identifying the User
3. display remarketing ads via the Google AdWords system to Users who have visited the Website
4. display personalized advertisements, tailored to the interests of Users and their behaviour on the web
3. Detailed information on how to handle cookies can be found in the web browser settings. Using these settings, it is possible to determine the scope of the User’s consent to place cookies in their browser. Restricting or preventing the use of cookies may, however, affect some of the website functionalities.

Security rules

1. The User of the Website should secure their devices that have access to the Internet. The device should have an anti-virus program installed with an up-to-date virus definition database, an up-to-date and safe version of a web browser and a firewall enabled.
2. It is recommended to enable anti-phishing filters (tools) in the web browser that check whether the displayed website is authentic and is not used for phishing, e.g. by impersonating an institution or a business entity.
3. Caution is advised when opening attachments or clicking on links in e-mails that the User did not expect to receive, e.g. from unknown senders. When in doubt, the User should contact the sender, e.g. by phone.
4. Files should be downloaded only from trusted places. Installing software from unverified sources involves high risk.
5. The User of the Service using a home Wi-Fi network should set a secure and hard-to-break network access password. It is also recommended to use the most advanced encryption standards for Wi-Fi wireless networks which the User may enable on their hardware, e.g. WPA2.
